Finally! The horses are loaded, the truck is packed. Soon as my dad gets in the truck they will be on their way! They will be here sometime tomorrow.
Send good thoughts their way. I am just a worry wort. But I think everything will be just fine. They haul good, they have the whole trailer to themselves. One horse in the front stall and other horse in the back stall. So they can walk around a bit and won't get stiff.
My brother said they were too fat to fit in the trailer side by side. Haha they will be on a diet down here.

Well it was easier for my brother and parents to feed free choice roundbales. So they ate and ate and were just given more. No exercise other than their walks around the yard when someone forgot to plug in the electric fence.
They are on US 12 now headed to coldwater and said the horses and dogs are riding well.
My brother said Bonnie was the most eventful to load. He put her in, unhooked the leadrope and walked out, and she followed him back out. So he had to load her up again and tell her to stand so he could walk out. Nothing major tho, just too smart of a horse for her own good.

I am excited. I been waiting too long for this day to come. My horse cart isn't coming either, its frozen to the ground someplace. (someone took it out of the trailer a while back, grrr). They said it wouldn't fit on top of the load in the truck anyhow, so will just have to wait for another trip down. If anyone wants to come visit, can bring it down, lol

As NASTY as it is up there, do remember, they will be miserable down here until they shed a layer or 2 of hair! I had thought about clipping, but the locals said to let nature do it. Because we have had some cold down here as well. But this week is going to be in the 50's for daytime and 30's for night. Poor mares will look like wet teddy bears with all that fur!

We were talking and they were about an hour away so I suspect she is out taking care of unloading and putting up the fence. Can you tell she is excited? There is more but I'll let her tell you.
