Bonnie is so miserable still this morning. She is rolling, itchy, hot, sore. She's been laying down a lot. I hosed her down this morning and she stood for that, loved it. She refuses to take the bute, I can't get it down her. I have no idea where my Banamine is. I haven't had time to dig thru everything. Molly doesn't seem to be having the same issues. She rolls some but most the time she follows Bonnie around wondering what is wrong.
I might just have to stop at a vet and see if I can buy another tube of Banamine. There is no heat in her feet tho. She's just visually miserable.
My dogs are happy to see us. Sassy looks horrible. I didn't realize how bad she was, but she has dropped a lot of of weight. She is starting to put it back on tho, but she's lost over half I think. While my other dog Holly gained 2x as much!
Met the next door neighbors this morning, they are super nice. The guy says he grew up with horses. They have 5 kids, with a boy my daughters age.
Just send good thoughts to Bonnie, I think she's going to really need it. I hope she figures out how to cool off. She is starting to shed already.

Yeah I'll post pix when I get the chance. They rolled in so late yesterday afternoon that we were putting up the temp fence in the dark last nite. This morning I was so rushed and then the neighbor took so much of my time. There was no time to even shower! But I do need to go back today and put up fence for the dogs. They are spending the day in the horse trailer, since I don't want them having accidents in the camper. My blind dog can't hold it longer than 2 hours. There will be pix I promise!

Ok Jen, what about the other thing you found in the trees? Don't forget to tell everyone.

Oh yes Carol! Thanks for reminding me! One of the fence lines is deep in the trees. Well yesterday when we were walking back there to make sure the fence was still up. We come across a structure! 4 solid corner posts with some wood around the top for a roof. Well on the other side of the fence is the roof! Sheet Metal that could be removed from the current wood its on, and put on new wood. I will have HAY Storage!

It is a bonus, I bet the landlord doesn't even know its there. We will have to reroof it and put sides on it. But heck thats cheaper than buying the whole thing. We have permission to do any updates (within reason) on the place.
Luke run out to check on the animals. He forgot to get the propane tanks to refill this morning, during that rush, so he had to go get them now. Told him to hose Bonnie down again. I really hope she pulls thru this change. She's so special to us, it just worries me.
Thank you for all the good thoughts, I am glad they had a safe trip. I am glad they are here with us, I just hope they are here to stay.

Oh Im so happy the girls made it down there safely! Im sorry about Bonnie though. Did they giver her Banamine for the trip? I think you might want to do a hunter clip or something on her. With her extra weight it might be hard for her to cool off and the heat could get to her feet. That might sound silly but Id hate for her body heat to mess her up. She has gone through a lot in the past few days. Good luck and Im sure shell be ok, youll take good care of her

Jen,
I am using a product called NuVet it is herbs and vitamins they gaurantee it, it is for cataracts, fatty lumps, skin, muscle, aging, addisons, cushings, and many more things, my 14 yr old border collie was diagnosed with auto immune disorder this past july her first health problem ever. I started her on it 2 weeks ago, she is more active, her skin which was red flaky and ouchie is now clearing up, her muscle is coming back which 70 percent of her muscle was depleted from the disease. it is not to expensive you give one pill a day it is 19.95 + 5.00 shipping for 30 day supply or 39.90 + 5.00 shipping for a 60 day supply. I swear by this stuff, I was ready to put her to sleep, and decided to try this before doing so and im glad I tried it. I wont be done with my testimonial video for 30 more days to show proof it works and what she looked like before trying it. her hair is growing back too where it was patchy and it is really shiney now too.
It is not a quick cure it does take a full 60 days to see full effects of it. but im very impressed in the 2 weeks she has been on it.
Let me know if you want to try it. you would be amazed at how much your sick dog will improve.
What it does is not mask the illnesses it repairs the organs and tissues reminder the body repairs itself every 21 days so the improvements get better and better over time.
im now distributing it, so let me know if you would like to give it a try.
