This Ryan who rents my home up front called me at work to inform me that there were two extra critters in my back yard...Thinking racoons, dogs cats ect it floored me when he told me it was a horse and goat  So he placed them in my open pasture and fed them some hay and there was water in the trough. He said a woman knocked on the door because she about hit them, thought they were his because my barn is behind his place....so if you know anyone in the Blanchard area missing their goat and horse have them call or email me to describe them, I dont want someone getting a "free" horse if it really isnt theres  They are healthy and the horse is friendly, cute:) Carrie at quack@power-net.net or 989-561-5406 |

Mabie they no longer have a home except your,If you know what I mean.It is happening every were.Gary Wright was telling me Monday some people left a couple horses at the Marion sale and left a note saying if they aren't sold give them away.He called animal control because he didn't need them either.

I know exactly what you mean, I have the word out through out the Amish community around here, my renter is a farrier so he travels a ton too. If nobody claims them, I will keep them, the foal is so darn cute, the goat is too...they are inseperable. Poor goat takes a beating though. I am going to try and get a halter on the foal tomorrow....not sure if its weanling, or a yearling pony. Tiny.

I was talking to a frind of mine the other night and he was at some sale..not sure which one but some guy was trying to drop his horses of and the sale ring wouldn't let him drop his horses off and just leave them. He had to pay the commission fee upfront and I guess he either didn't have it or didn't want to pay it so he tied his 2 horses to his trailer in the parking lot and put a sign that read FREE horses....Well he went to lunch and came back and there were 2 more horses tied to his trailer....I guess the guy about cried....thinking 4 HORSES! When he didn't even want the 2 he had.

OH MY, that would really be horrible  I am ok if the owner does not claim, they are cute...I will try and get a halter on the colt this afternoon....freindly and will let you pet it but not handle it:( The goat just follows him around all over. If I do keep it I sure wish the owners would just give me fyi on them so I know what kind of horse it is ect... Carrie |

They are building a new home near us, that did not make it over on Friday so they didnt even know they were out. I am happy they didnt get hit, we live near a chipping factory and the good ole boys FLY by my house in the am to get to work...They have 5 kids, they bought him at Yoders this past fall or spring and someone gave them the goat |

Hee hee, I would have kept him if they didnt show up, he was a yearling pony as I thought...Bought from Yoders last fall or spring. Nice family.
