I had a gelding that after having doritos he would not eat horse treats, and my friends husband worked for frito lay so he would bring kmarts a bag of them every saturday with a mountain dew lol.. he not only liked mountain dew he would not drink pepsi.. he stuck his nose up at it lol..
I also knew someone who had a aqha stallion that would not breed spotted mares, he was scared of them they would have to blanket and hood them to breed them lol..

Out of the 11 horses at my farm, only one I would consider picky. She won't finish her wheat bran at the bottom of her bucket. All the rest will eat anything that's put in front of them!

none of mine seem to be picky...my paint mare is "dainty" though~ I have to hold the apple for her...she'll take one bite, then I have to hold the rest for her till she is ready for it--LOL!!!

My old gelding wasn't picky at all, he ate everything. From Bud Light, to menthol lights, to half a chicken sandwich from Burger king.
But my new girl turns her head at just about everything except horse cookies. Its weird how different some of them can be.
