I just moved 3 months ago but my landlord has another house available soon w/ more land for my horse so we decided to go window peeping last nite and when I walked out behind the barn I mean I had to take a double take but there was a very young horse like maybe under 6 months old that is in pretty bad shape. It had hay and some water but it looks like someone just fed it because there is NO evidence of any hay other than the three bales in the barn ever being on that property !!! And the one water tank is completly frozen and the other one had a couple drinks of water in it that was not frozen yet. I called my landlord and she DID NOT know that there was a horse there. It's feet are curled and it has a distended belly and covered in what looks to be like diarreha and looks boney up top. My landlord is making a couple phone calls to see it they are coming to get this horse and then I guess I'm going to take care of it and see what I can do for it. My god, people make me ill...........So when I find out more today I plan on going over there after work anyway to make sure he is ok and take him some water. This person whoever it is does NOT deserve to even have this horse so I really hope that they don't come and get it.

Please, just call animal control. Whoever this horse belongs to doesn't deserve it. Just help get him out and off to a better place.

I work at a Sheriff Office and I already contacted them on this, we are trying to get ahold of the people that had him and we are going from there, AC said if they say they don't want him then I can have him but if we can't contact them then they will go out and take him and go for criminal charges on the person, I am going to feed and water him until then. He does have shelter also.
