we've had someone come around twice now offering us an aerial photo of our property. This last one had all 3 horses in it and the yard looked good....green and just mowed with perfect lines, so hubby bought it! It looks really neat. We only bought the 11x22 proof, cause they wanted a ridiculous amount for framed pics. I really wanted the large one that they can do that looks like an oil painting....amazing how they can do that. I think it's cool, cause it's my first home that I've owned and we built the house ourselves, so that makes it even cooler to have this photo to keep.
just wondered if anyone else has seen these aerial photos...it's a company out of Ohio that does them in the summer time and come around to sell in the winter.

i717.photobucket.com/albums/ww180/spfarms/ArielViewFarm.jpg Here is the link to our Ariel Photo of our farm. It only shows a small portion of it and we've since added 2 more pastures to the right of the barn. We have the large rectangular frame with the brass tag with the Farm name on it" Simple Pleasures Farm 2007".

Now with all the technology you can go online with most of the map websites and zoom in satelite views and get good ariels of the houses. Jackson Co GIS map has a great BIRDS EYE VIEW of houses. Also Google Maps has great views of land down here anyway. I had been using it to check out places for rent.
I don't see why you couldn't get a good shot and print it out. Maybe put it on cd and take it to Sams Club for a poster print.

Our county provides this service for free. Here's ours that I was able to use to set up my pasture fences.

We get one usually every couple years but the guy retired. Take a look at this site www.Tranquilacres.netThis one was taken in October 1999 just after we Hosted Fall Camp-out For the M.S.M.A. We had around 130 Horse's here that weekend. Boo

If your county doesn't offer the aerial photos for you, you can go to Google Earth and get them there. Be sure to download the latest version. It's 4.3.
