Vet said colic, treated horse for colic, said to put molasses in water to get her to drink more water, so did that last nite when I got home again and walked her for 2 hours, she pooped a few apples. She was up this morning and perky, I gave her another gallon of the sugar water, walked for 2 hours (yea I was up early), and she pooped 10 hard packed nuggets. She still has very loud gurgly sounds. She still has some irritation. She drank more water before I left. She is not rolling, she just lays down. Luke has to go out and fix the truck tail lights today so is going to give her more sugar water and walk her for me. Its like after she drinks the water she poops.

Oh and for the first time she made a boss mare pass at the other horse. She is still not eating but she was playing with some grass just pulling it out of the ground.

You can use gatorade mixed with water for electolites. We used this all the time at the zoo when an animal was dehydrated.

She is hot and miserable. Yesterday it was 70 deg, today its in the 60's and she's warm to the touch but not sweaty. She is still uncomfortable. She is still laying down a lot. She is still not eating the hay here. She IS drinking more water. She is pooping, and now its sloppy diarreah. She is still alert when cars go by or the pony across the road neighs, she looks at it. She is still letting the other mare pick on her, Bonnie is the boss mare. Molly will be in for a whooping when Bonnie gets better. Just keep praying for her.

When transporting long haul it is important to use elecrolites. did u get the tubes i told u i use for long hauling? the b-12 and stress relief/ with electrolite gel in tubes. if it was given in small amounts thru the trip it would help, also walking the horses every 4 hours is another thing we do if safe at a stop. if not we park and let them walk around in trailer for 1/2 hour with water and food.
