Coming soon to Willow Tree Equestrian Center in Bangor, MI, lifelong drivers and trainers, Wendy Fisher and Tanya Wretzky will be putting on a 6 part clinic series about driving. This is for those who have never driven and want to learn, those who are new to driving, and those who just need a refresher course.
The general outline of the series will be:
*Harnessing
*Ground driving
*Hooking to cart
*Driving in cart
*Combined driving demonstration
*Group drive
We plan to do this every other Saturday from 2-4, starting Jan 23rd. We have several horses available to learn on. As we get further into it, you may use your own horse, if approved for safety. (THIS IS NOT A CLINIC TO TRAIN A HORSE TO DRIVE, MORE FOR THE PERSON)
The cost will be $15 per person each session OR $75 upfront for all 6 sessions. This will include your $5 arena fee each time and use of our lesson horses.
In the end, we hope to invite many drivers, even if they didn't participate in the clinic. We would like to start a new driving club. Our goals aren't completely set just yet, but we want to have a group that can go driving together and go to competitions and clinics to learn more.
