So here is the deal: I decided I would like to move out of my parents house and get a roommate well a lady I work with said she would be my roommate however, I feel like I am getting jipped. She wants the big room, the walk in closet and her own private bath *Its a 2 bed 2 bath apartment* But she feels she should not have to pay more then me. Her room is 15x10 and mine is a 10x9 so huge difference and if people come over mine is also a guest bath. Rent is 600 a month and water sewer and trash is 21.50 a month. Electricity is extra. Free heat which is gas so we don't pay that. What do you think? At first I thought she should pay electric but I kinda feel that isnt really all that cool.

I agree with what your thinking. She should pay more if she gets the bigger room, and a private bathroom to herself. So you would be getting jipped. Maybe she should pay $350 plus the trash. and you $250 then split the electricity. But I wouldn't be splitting things right down the middle if she gets "better" living conditions than you. Why should you pay the same amount for the "lesser" of the living conditions. JMO

Well if she got mad over that then you probably would not have been happy anyway - after you were already stuck with her getting the better end of the deal. I think you are better off.

I agree. If she had the better of it all, then she should have to pay a bit more. That's how it was for me and my old roomies.
