from the Backcountry Horse site: H.R. 4610 HAS PASSED 76 TO 26! Everyone's hard work has paid off! Thank you to all that worked so hard to accomplish this! Please take some time to thank all those that helped to make this possible! The passage of this bill is a testament to how much power the people hold when they work together, rally together and contact their legislators!

So can I ask, what did it give us back. I live close to Pigeon River, and went to some of the meetings at the DNR office, fighting to ride there and it was not a nice meeting to put it nicely

There's a companion senate bill (596 I think but don't quote me). If that gets passed then a law would go to the governor for signing. At least that's my understanding, but I'm not a civics teacher.
