501c3 means they are a Non Profit Organization and your donations are tax deductible.

luckily they have limited access to the internet but they have combined with another group and are constantly begging on craigslist etc. The group they combined with does not spay and neuter the animals before they leave. Wish there were some way to police the bad rescues but it is "adopters beware" This horse rescue is fairly close to me and she is illegally keeping at least 15 on less then 2 acres. They are rarely out of the dilapidated barn. Some died over last winter. The twp is trying to get her to comply but it is going to have to go to court to get her out of there. members.petfinder.com/~MI467/index.htm*Note, the horses listed for adoptions pictures are NOT taken at her farm. And possibly are not in her care. (lets hope not)
