I did not know if more people are heading over here, but I thought I would see what you thought. I asked if you would show my Pinto mare Squared or like an Arabian. She is 1/2 Arab but a grade Arab. Everyone gave me some great tips, and we have been practicing (FOR ONLY ONE WEEK) . So my dad was just snap snap snapping away, I choose these to for you to critique if you would, it's ok to be harsh. Only way to learn right. On the first pic I choose that one because her front LEFT FRONT LEG... is What I would think is the more correct position? Unlike the 3rd pic. I love the 2nd one, although it is a bit hard to tell if her front is too far under her. Ok, Have at it. Would a more solid colored background help w/ you critiques?

Hey, you guys are really coming along!!!
Yeas, the way her left front is in the first will be a better position for her (but the way her hind legs are in the 2nd is better).
There is a forum called The Ammy Army, that is all amature arabian horse owners that show thier own horses. If you join the group (it's free), you will be able to see the Halter Training and it has a step by step approach that really makes sense.
The next step will be to get her to not shift her weight so far forward when she stretches, but to just stretch with her neck. The Ammy Army site explains how to do that (just google "The Ammy Army" and you'll find the link).
She's look really good in the last pic!! Maybe just a half step more forward with her right front.
