Sleepy Hollow doesn't offer regular horse camping. They do have 6 weekends this summer it was going to be allowed but parking/camping is just in the normal dayride lot area. Now if you are talking non-horse camping my brother and his family camp at Sleepy Hollow several times a year in the "people" camp. They love that, play area for kids, lake to swim/fish, nice modern campsites with full hookups but no horses allowed in that camping area. As for the trails at Sleepy Hollow it has 2 loops, someone will correct me if I am wrong, but a 3 mile and a 5 mile. I do believe they were adding on to that but has been a year or two since was down there. Pros: trails are pretty flat, easy to ride. Cons not super exciting and we really don't find it too scenic but nice place for a young horse to get some miles. You will get more opinions about that I know. There are folks who love it down there but we would rather go to Big Rapids (Hungaford) or Grayling (Goose Creek), Chase (D Bar D Ranch) just seem more scenic and challenging. Sorry haven't been to the other two but keep hearing wonderful things about Waterloo.

Id like to see what people say also. I have been curious about Sleepy.
Not meant to hijack but what about Elba? As in the Elba Equestrian Center. I want to go to some place other than Cummings aka Fair grounds.

Sleepy Hollow is a nice afternoon ride. Nothing fancy, but much better than riding down the road. I haven't been in the fall but I'm sure it's a nice ride as you have some open areas to enjoy the woods around you.
Only been to Waterloo once and was kinda turned around, never been to Pontiac Lake.

I went to Farmlane the middle of Sept for 5 days, it connects onto Waterloo. The trails were fun and I was able to find my way around with the map. Farmlane has rustic sites at 17$ and there is water at the sites. Also had a fun time at the Sat. night campfire. They have music..check it out if you get a chance. Elba is lots of unmarked trails so if you go make sure you have a good sense of direction.
