Boarding needed in the Mason/Lansing area

One of my coworkers approached me yesterday to ask if I knew of anybody in the Lansing/Mason/Leslie area that boards horses. She has a friend that has boarded her horse at a friends farm for many years and the friend lost her job and is loosing the farm. She isn't looking for a regular boarding stable with the arena and such, but would rather board at someones farm. I think she is looking for something smaller and not so busy. Her main concern is finding someone who is knowledgeable about horses. She is more concerned with the well being of her horse than amenities. Open to suggestions.

I know you said she didn't want a big farm, but Arrowhead farm is in Mason. They have all the amenities, but also she is knowledgable and cares about all the horses. Its about 30 horses, but its not a 'busy' farm.
