Ok these are list of saddle brands that I can afford. I know they aren't the greatest quality but out of all of them which is the best quality. I want a leather saddle because the Abetta and them type. However the last saddle I got I was ripped off. The fenders were held on by cheap rivets. Anyway, give me some input please and if there's a somewhat better brand. I know you get what you pay for put I can't spend loads on a saddle. Keep in mind I'll be lucky to afford one of these. I hate to pour out my life story but I'm on disability (no, I'm not proud of it) so another words I'm poor lol.

I have had a few saddles for our big girl, I was like you sticking to the lower prices since I know she would outgrow them as she matured. Had a buffalo, it was comfy, pretty nicely put together. There seems to be some "better" models in their line and some junkier ones too, I would look at those on an individual basis. I used Dad's King saddle for a while and he has put a lot of miles on taht saddle it has held up very well for him.

My mother in law has a western saddle - its not a name brand, but looks and rides JUST like a buffalo. I think its a 16 inch saddle, maybe 15, not for sure. Its been stored in teh house for the last 4 years and not used. My husband used it back when we rode on the EQ team for his TB mare and ran speed in it. It's pretty comfy. I can get pictures of it if you'd like. She also has a western bear trap saddle, new fenders, never even riden in, but kinda ugly..... $150 for the ugly one and $250 for the buffalo-look a like
