SOLD 3 years old. 15 hands tall so far. Sire is 15.3 hands (I believe) and dam is 16.2 hands. Not registered, but very good bloodlines. Started under saddle before I had him gelded and was doing great. Very willing with a strong desire to please. Not overly spooky and not stupid. $500 or $800 with an additional 30 days training, for a total of 45 days. (That is a $150 discount on the additional 30 days training) SOLD

We would LOVE to have him...if we could afford to have him shipped over here to Colorado!! lol I think we need to keep our mind on having this baby, and no more horses until Matt sells his buckskin...beautiful boy though!!

Do you know if he's been hypp tested?

No, he has not been HYPP tested. I emailed his sire's owner and asked them if Big With The Gals has been tested and what the results were. I also asked for more pix of him because I think he's gorgeous.

I just got an email from Crystal, who owns Big With The Gals. She says that his sire (Ima Big Wheel) is HyPP N/N, so that would mean the Big With The Gals is N/N and so would my colt.

Very handsome boy. What are his gaits like? Where are you located? I should say how far from the U.P. ?

I am about the middle of the mitten....I think about 3 hours from the bridge. His gaits look smooth, but I can't say for sure.... Before I had him gelded, I was on his back ONLY two times. First time was just to get him accustomed to having me up there, and the second was to ask him to walk and first time asking him to trot. He was a touch lazy, but really wanted to do everything I asked...he just wasn't really sure what I was asking. Anyway, he only took a few steps at a trot and then went back to a walk, which I never ask for more than that on the second time with a rider. He was already responding to leg cues and neck-reining (enhanced by leg cues that were all taught on the ground before he ever had a saddle on his back).
He's a very good tempered colt and loves to please. No kick. No bite. No buck. No rear. Not even a balk when I asked him to move....hesitation, but only because he wasn't sure what to do.
