Hi everyone. Sorry I don't post much, but I don't have internet service right now and have to find time ( usually can't) to get to the coffee shop to use the free wi-fi ) Anyhow, I have a few questions and don't mean to put them all in one email, but here go's.
Question 1 - we are going to be putting in pastures for the horses at our new place as soon as the mud dries up. I am looking at electrobraid and the Farnam Horse Guard. Does anyone have either of these fences and can tell me how they like them? Opinion on which is better? I want them to be very visible both to the horses and the deer. Lots of deer!
Question 2 - I don't have much time for my horses these days and I'm looking into having someone come out and ride my green mare about once a week to finish her training and just get her back in the habit of being ridden. I am in Howell. I probably can't even afford it right now, but I hate that she is just sitting idle. Would anyone be willing to barter for massage? Human or horse, I am certified in both and will travel to you. If your interested, let me know what you charge or if you would consider bartering for part or all of it.
Question 3 - If the training idea doesn't pan out I may be interested in leasing this mare out to someone who has time for her, but I'm really nervous about leasing her out to just anyone. I am picky about her care and how she will be ridden. I would prefer a show home. She is reg. Appy. I don't know anything about leasing out a horse so how does the liability work? Anyone know?
Thanks so much to anyone who actually read all this! LOL I'm just brainstorming here to come up with ideas. Like I said, I don't have internet service so I will try and check this board again in a week or so. So hang in there waiting for a response to me. You can reply here or to my reg. email account at horsesinharmony@aol.com
