Well we went and looked at a local horse here for sale. The gal told me on email how nice he was and that she just didn't use him enough to keep him around so I asked a bunch of questions and she told me that he's never bucked or reared and just needs to be ridden. When we got there I noticed that he was in his own pasture and asked her why he wasn't w/ the other horses, she said "we've always kept him alone." Red flag? Then she cross tied him in the barn and preceeded to tell me that he bucked her off hard last year and that he reared on her sister!!! I'm in shock at this point, so then I asked her to ride him first and she refused to ride him, telling me that she would rather take him to the fair grounds and ride him in the arena??? Red flag??? We are walking away from the gelding, to bad cause he's a beautiful horse but I don't want someone elses problems. So just putting it out there again and we have a great home and really want a nice beginner horse that will get along w/ my mare that is not dominant at all. Email me at dmbyrd329@yahoo.com.
