Where do you live? If you are near Charlotte? If so I would recommend Jen Mott, she had my mare last fall and did a great job with teaching her to neck rein and work off my legs. I second Jen. She took my mare (whom the last trainer said was 'untrainable') and made her into a wonderful mount. She did a great job with her.

Larry Burke in Big Rapids may be a good trainer to look into. Another would be the Clarks, they're on M-46 in Lakeview, big red barn. I'm a little young for your specifications (17 going 18), but I'd offer to help if I wasn't swamped with my current 5 year old, my 2 year old, a 3 year old stud, and a gelding getting trained for jumping. Not to mention touch ups on my three dead heads, two of which I also trained myself. Busy schedule for me

I am located in Clare. I have room to take in one horse right now. I charge $350 a month.
