I went last year and seen Baron. He was beautiful as always. We will be their on Sat but that is it. We loved watching him last year. Kinda wished your rider or trainer would do something different tho. I know you pay good money for training seems she would make him do a bit more . I think all she did last year was a figure 8 about 5 times that was it. Staci Hagan Boarding Stables

Not much you can do in less then 3 minutes (plus have a script read). Low level Dressage is BORING. We do have something different planned for this year though. I hope everyone likes it. (I'll leave it a surprise) Staci, I don't pay anything to have him trained, I don't even have to pay for his feed or care she does it all just so she can work with him. This is why I haven't raised his stud fee ever. If everyone wants me to send him to a high end trainer then they'll have to pay a $1,200 stud fee. He is showing well, winning ribbons and between that and his "star status"- that's all he needs. Oh and last years first performance got totally screwed up and the timing was off (because of the announcer). I told her she can't time anything at this show because they will talk over the music if their running behind or cut you off. But thank you for your constructive criticism. Always good to know what people think. I will pass along your comments to her. Regards, Rachelle

boy he is looking more handsome than ever! he is in GREAT shape! I will be sure to catch one of the shows. You know, whatever that boy does in the arena, I am always in complete awe. His movement is just breathtaking and I love to see his personality shine through! what a ham! I am going to have to stop by your booth. I am bringing my nieces to the rodeo and they will want to meet Bella's daddy.

He really enjoys doing the exhibitions. I can tell you one thing though... After doing so many exhibitions he'll NEVER be able to do Freestyle Dressage to music. LOL When the music starts he wants to go go go. I don't know if other people can really see his joy the way I can (because I know him so well) He just wants to run around and look beautiful, forgetting everything he knows when music is playing. He just wants to hear people clap, seriously he lives for it. I'll never forget when he was young and we showed him on the long line at this same expo. He picked me out of the crowd 3 times (I have it on video) and everyone was clapping and going crazy for him.. That was when he got hooked by the "bug" of showing off...LOL.. My goal is to always keep him happy no matter what anyone else thinks. I will never in my life own another horse so special. It is easy to get caught up in the whole promoting/showing thing and not put the horse first. I don't EVER want that to happen. When it's not fun for him anymore, we'll stay home and be done.

Dressagediva We will be "on deck" waiting for the horse before us to enter the arena. That is a good time to get some pics. We wait in front of the BIG scary door...LOL. Staci 3 minutes is tough and so is the 15 minutes of enternity in Hoosier... 5-6 minutes would be perfect...lol

Baron will be home part of the breeding season. I have several people wanting to have their mares bred here. I am thinking of picking him up the end of April, then he is fully recovered from the expos and the weather is a bit better. How long he stays home depends on how many mares we have to breed.
