I love it! I like how Proboards is easy to navigate! I will suggest that all the old threads be removed, including the dispute board. You are going to have lots of new members and I think it would serve the MEL members well to have all the crap removed. No sense in having everyone's old dirty laundry for everyone to see. JMHO.

Now yesterday I was on this board and another one. Did we start 2? The other one didn't have the horsey background and of cousre now I can't find it. The same members were on the other one too

twgal42mi - some of the other members have branched off and started their own proboards groups - have their own rules, most of the same members, some not. So you may see more boards, but this is MEL. Run by the same managers of the MSN/MEL.

You mean change the general settings for posts on one thread?
I changed it to alot more posts per thread not sure if that helped or not for what you wanted

When I ope MEL General, there are only 20 threads. The first five are stickies. That only leaves fifteen to read. I would go with 30 or 35 threads to view at once. Makes it easier.

This kind of board set up stinks, don't like them at all. But as long as we are forced to leave msn I guess we have no choice. The msn set up will never be replaced with anything as good. groupbox at least has member albums to show off some of our best pictures and a chat room. I'll probably not follow any other boards to these crappy sites. Just two mainly.

The pros - no pop up window for posting messages - that didn't always load for me the first time, sometimes not for hours. Can post pictures in signatures. Can put youtube vids right in the message.
The cons - I'm missing the purple and yellow! My net phone will not load all the info. No personal album. Not as easy to navigate - or hard to get used to the differences. No way to search all of proboards for horse theme groups.

I think there is too much on this board to click on. Heck I even get lost. I was going to help move things but I don't have a clue where to start. Every board I click on opens a bunch of others and it's confusing. I vote for making it easy like LB's board and SA's board. If they visit they can post the links for you to look at Karen. Sorry but I just think it's too "busy".. just my 2 cents.

Each section/area is separated the same as we had in MSN....so the same topics are under each area, as we had before. I have seen the other boards... Do we really want one looong board where all the categories and topics are on one page? KAren |

Link to MI Horse Community for anyone who wants to see what it looks like. I think this one is kinda busy too. And the skin that I had on kept changing til it was something I couldn't stand to look at long enough to read (stampede skin). I don't like all the sub-boards here, it's really confusing. I usually visit here once a day for a quick read, maybe post once, and then I'm good. When you asked me to cross-post the tech stuff, it took me quite a few mins to find the "help" board LOL |

Love it You can customize, and the PM is a godsend compared to sifting through junk emails. Easy to navigate and easier to reply. |

Personally I find it really easy to navigate. But then I seldom have a problem with a lot of things other people get upset over. I firmly believe it to be superior to MSN and easy to post to. Just takes a bit of time and tinkering with things to manage to make your posts personalized. I definitely do NOT miss msn and the purple and yellow yick....
I do however belong to a couple Ning groups and find them very user friendly and interesting as well. I hated Multiply, and disliked that Aimoo thing as well. And have two photo forums on Yuku which are ok but just not as quick or warm feeling.
I give you gals a two thumbs up and five star rating for getting it all together here. Yep very very nicely done. BTW again LOVE the skins you made they are GREAT!!!!! Not over bearing or icky colored.
