I have two females from her first litter, they are 2 1/2 years old. They are sisters and have great attitudes and temperaments. I just introduced them to their first upclose experience with a cat and then the kittens, at first they though they were varmints and needed to be removed from the property and within a few hours they were accepting them as part of the family. The kittens just terrorize them now (7wks old), run up to, under and over them and they never bothered them. They do wash them so they get a good soaking. They do still chase the neighbors cat as he does not belong to them. Misty the girls are great. You can see their baby pictures on her web site. I have Tasha and Baby Dumplin and they both think they are lap dogs. Bev

These are really, really nice dogs. I was amazed at how well behaved the mom and dad were when I picked up my puppy. Misty, mine is sitting here right by me as I write just love her to death. I keep telling her how lucky she is that my grandson picked her. I can't believe her ears are standing up straight already. I'm so glad you had these wonderful dogs available and I was able to get one. Sandy

After Saturday, I will most likely have 1 of the males and 1 female left. The person that was going to take the runt can't get her now, so she is available again.
If Anyone is interested, please let me know before Labor Day weekend, because I will be taking the puppies that are left to Cow Camp Rodeo and will be selling them while we are camping there.

Cowcamp is about 15 miles from me....don't camp there but do go over to visit the 'locals' in the grove up by the arena.Have been going there since 1985 and know the Hughston family well.Have a super time Dang..the female would have been my pick but one dog is enough ;)She looks so much like our German Shepherd female when she was a puppy. appy trails Jan

Ok now which Cow Camp? In McBain or Bitely?? Have friends headed to Bitely because it has more kid oriented activities, plus the poker ride and treasure hunt for the adults. That is the only thing about McBain is there really isn't so much riding, although I did find it pretty relaxing to just have nothing to do or expect to do. I could so get used to that! PS how is Dad's boy doing? He was asking the other day so figured best ask you while I remembered!!

If anyone is looking for a nice puppy at a reasonable price check out these puppies. I went & bought the runt female yesterday. She is so smart. She already knows her name, comes when called & sits when asked to sit. She came into the house & within a few seconds became friends with our Blue Heeler ( I also bought from another member off of Mel Slick Lena almost 2 years ago) our 7 lb. mix & our inside cat. No fussing. She met the barn cats today & just looked at them. She did not even give the horses a second thought. She was alittle fussy at bedtime, I held her for about 15 mins. then laid her on her bed on the floor & told her stay & she did. She slept until 5:30 this morning. She has only had one accident in the house so far. From what I have read on here about her siblings from past litters & this litter, I know she will be a good dog. Mother & Father & Uncle were all nice looking & well behaved. Gretchen is laying by my feet as I type. Thanks again Misty :]

Maybe we missed some areas but we went all the places they pointed to us?? Wish could convince Tim to go there with you guys and maybe show him it isn't so bad. It seems so much more relaxing than going to the other will be I think. Guess I shouldn't judge since haven't been to the other but... The Camp Bob one does have a Poker Ride on Saturday and Treasure Hunt on Sunday which will be fun I am sure but they are loong rides (20 miles/12 miles) it says and I would rather ride a couple hours and be back to camp relaxing and then go out again later and so on. Not a huge fan of those really long rides anymore getting soft I guess.
