hey bleve, we are doing this weekend, outside of evart. just dont try to take your horse into a regular camp ground, that is not set up for horses.

Sweet, feel free to share your secret location This is my biggest beef with agencies like the DNR and Forest Service...they're all about telling you what you can't do, but don't promote all the things you can do.

their is about 10,000 acers in between evart an reed city off from highway 10, look on a map. all you need to do is stop by the dnr office any where an get a camp premit. you have to stay off the bike trails an on the 2 tracks or roads.they dont want ya making your own trails.i have been doing this for tears, when i had bikes an the horse. greg

North of 10 or south towards the river? Is it a state rec area or state forest or anything? I don't see it listed as anything on Yahoo maps. And I'm assuming you mean dirt bike trails, not mountain bike trails? Sounds like fun, I'll have to explore sometime.

we had fun out there . yesterday was a 14 mile ride,poor nellie was done in.but she was ready to go agin after dinner. lots of 2 tracks to ride on. bugs were not to bad, lots of ticks thugh. north.off 10, on 100 th, to 7mile left to 10 th. gose only to the north (right) just folow it to the end you can only go left. pick a spot to camp an have fun
