Does anyone know someone interested in free leasing a horse to me for the summer and fall? My trail buddy is laid up with Insulin Resistance related lameness issues and I'm going to give her the year off to fully recover before I ride her. I'd like to find a sane horse someone isn't using to fill in for Dusty, I have nice big safe pasture,nice hay and oats, would be stalled at night, and camp and trail ride exclusively. I'm getting too old for a "rodeo" and am a bigger gal so looking for a larger horse, my MFT mare is 15-3 and 1200#. Prefer gaited but am too interested in getting into the saddle this summer to be picky. Can give personal and vet reference and visits welcomed. Pasture mate is friendly and non-marish, but don't want one that would bully her in her condition.
