Hooray!! Hooray!!We had a great turn out again at the hearing. 45-50 in support with excellent testimony.HB 4610 passed the House Tourism, Outdoor Recreation and Natural Resources Committee today on a vote of 9 yes, 0 no, and 2 pass. None of the members were absent. Recreational access won the day. Stay tuned for when it makes it to the House Floor. The 2 Reps. not in complete support were Rep. Kate Ebli and Rep. Lindberg. Please be sure to contact your representative to support the upcoming vote oh HB 4610. Provisions were made that would reverse the clock to 1999, and an oversight committee would be formed. If we hadn't, it might of died in committee. The entirety of the bill is available here.http://www.facebook.com/l/;http://legislature.mi.gov/(S(5f00zwr5ykpm4k45vcuwav55))/mileg.aspx?page=GetObject&objectName=2009-HB-4610 The minutes from the 4/28 hearing are here.http://www.facebook.com/l/;http://www.house.mi.gov/SessionDocs/2009-2010/Minutes/tour042809.pdf
